About World Environment Day
World Environment Day celebrates positive environmental action both globally and locally. This year’s theme, ‘accelerating land restoration, drought resilience & desertification progress’ calls for action to revive our damaged ecosystems. Together we can practice habits that help to reach this goal: plant trees, clean up our rivers, increase our backyard biodiversity, reduce food waste and support renewable energy.
Our land, our future
While we cannot turn back time, we can grow forests, revive water sources and bring back soils to a healthy and productive state. We are the generation that can heal the land locally and globally. #GenerationRestoration
