World Wetlands Day Short Films & Fundraiser

4 Feb 2023, Jerrabomberra Wetlands
2 Dairy Road Fyshwick, ACT 2609

Celebrating World Wetlands Day with environmental short film documentaries showcasing the stories of drought, wetlands, connection to Country and environmental inspiration from around Australia.

What’s happening.

Join ACT Parks & Conservation Services at Jerrabomberra Wetlands as we celebrate World Wetlands Day with cinema, scenery, sunsets, and sizzle.

For one night only on Saturday 4 Feb, our beloved wetlands will host an outdoor cinema!

Settle in on your picnic rug and enjoy a curated series of films exploring connections to Country through fire and water.

Drinks from Capital Brewing Co. will be on offer all evening, alongside woodfired pizzas and a sausage sizzle. Or bring your own picnic to enjoy dinner under the stars. You can also enjoy a guided wetland walk with Landcare and the Woodlands and Wetlands Trust!

We’ll be fundraising for capacity building for Rangers in other countries (including sending uniforms to Samoa and Solomon Islands Rangers).
